Gurnee Kirk is my "go to home office". Recently had the Femto/Lasik cataract surgery at the surgical center in River Forest. I cannot begin to tell you how professional and yet personal everyone was I came in contact with. From the doctors and technicians, to staff and even the terrific van driver. Everything went so smoothly and I was informed every inch of the way in a very successful procedure. Even the followups being turned over to my long time Optometrist just down the street from me. I just had a cataract removed and had a pleasant experience starting with the friendly receptionist and then all the awesome staff. Everyone made sure I was comfortable and explained what would take place. The procedure was quick and painless. If I could give this Eye Center 10 stars, I would. I have just completed my first laser cataract surgery in my left eye and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! I look forward to my next procedure on my right eye in a week with no hesitation or apprehension. Not only is the staff in Gurnee, exceptional, kind and courteous and helpful, the doctors that you see there are professional, kind, efficient and very knowledgeable, and make sure that you are comfortable with any decision you make. I was hesitant to do this, even though I have had Lasik surgery in the past but I couldn’t have had a better outcome or results. The doctors and staff at the surgery center were as efficient, courteous and kind as they are in Gurnee in helping you relax and guide you through the procedure with ease and confidence. This is the first anniversary of my laser cataract surgery with Kirk Eye Center and I just wanted to say my vision has never been better. I'm 20/20 for distance and only need standard 2.5 power reading glasses for reading. I am very grateful to Drs. Scott and Carter Kirk for the great job they did. Everyone in the office is very courteous and professional and my wife and I will always go to them in the future for all our vision needs. More
